Preserving Rovers Flagship

It’s official – the first dedicated Owners Club of the Rover flagship, the 800 series. As 800 owners, enthusiasts and members of the Club it is our wish to preserve these beautiful luxury and sports vehicles for our own enjoyment and for future owners.

The Club caters for all derivatives of the Rover 800 Series and as a member you are a part of an initiative to ‘Preserve the Flagship’. In addition to enjoying access to a wealth of technical and production information you can bring your 800 series along to many events. In fact, this is one of the primary reasons for the owners clubs existence with an emphasis placed on promotion of the 800 series at shows and events across the country. You can be certain of a busy calender in 2016, the 30th anniversary of the Rover 800.

Now 30 years since its introduction, the 800 is becoming a rare sight on the roads. Fortunately enthusiasm for the marque is on the increase. This was evident in November at the Lancaster Classic car Show (NEC Birmingham) and the official launch of the owners club. Over the weekend, we met with many 800 series owners, both past and present many of whom were eager to sign up with the Rover 800 Owners Club.
